Terms
Last updated November 7, 2026
By making an account or using monoban, you agree to these terms. They’re short on purpose.
The service
monoban is a keyboard-first task board, on the web and in your terminal, run by Thiago M. Dolabella. It’s free today and still early, so features can change. If we ever charge for something, we’ll tell you first, and you’ll choose whether to pay.
Your account
You need to be 16 or over. If you’re under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian agrees to these terms. Keep your sign-in details and tokens safe, because you’re responsible for what’s done with them. Tell us if you think someone else got in.
Your work is yours
What you put in monoban stays yours. You allow us to store, copy and show it only as needed to run the service for you. We don’t claim anything else.
Don’t misuse it
- Don’t break the law with it, or use it to harm other people.
- Don’t try to reach other people’s data or get around limits and security.
- Don’t overload the service, or resell it without asking.
Agents
Agents you start from monoban run on your own computer with your own accounts. You’re responsible for what they do to your code and repositories, and for what they cost.
No guarantees
We work to keep monoban running and your data safe, but we provide it “as is”, without promising it will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copies of anything you can’t afford to lose.
Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost data, and because the service is free, our total liability is limited to USD 100. Nothing here limits rights that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, including consumer rights in Brazil.
Leaving
You can stop at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we’ll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it. If we ever shut monoban down, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice to take your data out.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we’ll email you at least 30 days before. If you don’t agree, you can leave before they take effect.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States. If you live in Brazil, Brazilian law applies to your consumer and data protection rights, you can bring a claim where you live, and the Portuguese version of these terms is the one that counts for you.
